lyrics

Yeah you! You're not allowed to mourn
Buying shirts and hats, all laughing
You're not allowed to scream and cry
Because you all watched this happen

You hypocrites
Judge me not
Quote-on-quote "pacifists"
Relate, you cannot

We let his mind break, we raped and mutilated
Created a monster we were supposed to have hated
Don't you feel bad for watching him die
You all indulged in Shamu's awful life

His name was Tilikum
We ripped his home apart
And we all blamed him
For eating Dawn's heart

I hope you see oceans
Vast and big and blue
I hope you find mother
Or at least a friend or two

I think we'll all slip under the surface
Where the water spills down our throats
Either by Tilikum's rotting teeth or
Our own guilty hurts

Swimming with your captives
You're misconstrued
You think that they loved you..
You locked them in a zoo!

The prisons are all built from glass
And we see the suffering and slaughter
But you close your eyes screaming
"Protect our daughters!"

Hey!
Wake up!
It's not just the whales..
Please.. stop..

I hope you see oceans
Vast and big and blue
I hope you find mother
Or at least a friend or two

Protect us from the fingers
That nudge our lids wide open
Protect us, give us freedom
To shove our throats with treason

I guess you're a martyr now..
